Style Keyboard Yamaha Psr S650 Gratis
Expand your Yamaha keyboard's Style library with new downloadable Style Files!
Revd. Onacimus Sayaham has carefully converted hundreds of Yamaha styles so they closely resemble the sound on the original Yamaha keyboard. You will find many of these style collections on the appropriate keyboard pages: PSR-740, PSR-2000, PSR-2100, PSR-3000, PSR-S900, PSR-S910, PSR-S950, PSR-S970, Tyros4 and Tyros5.
For your convenience, however, many of Onacimus' conversions are also on this page. Styles generally for SFF2 (S910 and later, Tyros3 and later) keyboards are listed in the first section below. There are many conversions specifically for individual keyboards. Use these links to jump directly to sections for Tyros5, PSR-S970, and PSR-2000.

Christmas styles
(Dec 2018). Here are a variety of Christmas styles from Yamaha keyboards.
The title 33 Scenes From Life suggests that Malgoska Szumowska’s film will feature distinct divisions between each narrative segment that it presents. This is a conventionally told story, without fades to black or clear barriers between one sequence and the next. Then again, the title also suggests that this will be film about life. Her husband, a famous composer, is of no help, spending most of the time abroad and her father seems to need help even more than she does. 33 Scenes From Life is a film about the moment in life, when we as children change and become adults. It shows a time in life that everyone has to go through, because everyone has to grow up. Directed by Malgorzata Szumowska. With Julia Jentsch, Peter Gantzler, Maciej Stuhr, Andrzej Hudziak. Oriental Dance Styles
(Oct 2017) I have made 'Oriental Dance Styles' for SFF2 S-Series and Oriental Keyboards. This includes some selected styles from PSR-740, PSR-9000PRO, PSR-2100, PSR-1500, PSR-A1000, CVP-109 & CVP-210, which use Dance Kit from various categories. Here, I revoiced DanceKit to ArabicMixKit (available only in S-Series and Oriental keyboards). The mostly used drum tones of the old DanceKit (like Techno Kiks and Techno Snares), are given in ArabicMixKit with different notes (Kik B0=F-1, A0=A-1, Snare G0=G-1..) I remaped the drum notes accordingly. Now this gives the same feel of hearing the old Dance styles. Here are some mp3 samples:

These styles can not play properly in TYROS models. I designed these styles only for PSR-S970, S950, S910, S770, S750, S710, S670, S650, A2000 & A3000 as common. So I left these styles with '.sty' extension. An Excel file is included in the zip archive.

Classic Styles Collection
(Aug 2016) Here are a number of 'Classic Style' collections for SFF2 keyboards. Because 'Old is Gold,' this collection includes styles from 01-PSR-740, 02-PSR-8000, 03-PSR-730, 04-PSR-620&PSR-510. The styles of each keyboard are unique.
Originally, I did these conversions for the PSR-3000, all are SFF1 styles. Now, I am doing the conversions in my new PSR-S970. So all of these will be in the SFF2 format. The methodology is same as I did for PSR-3000. Here, I did make some slight voice changes. All these styles carry GM voices in all tracks. For better sound, I revoiced to other related XG voices. Very interestingly, I added OTS to each style by applying DSP effects to each voices (not panel voices but XG voices).
In PSR-8000, PSR-730, PSR-620 & 510 styles, I converted 2 variation to 4 variation styles. I copied MainA to MainA&B, MainB to MainC&D. In Fill ins, BA to AA, AA to BB, AB to CC and BB to DD. Except 730 I copied Intro and Ending A to B, and B to C. To download the zip files, click on the links provided in column 1.

PSR-740 Styles | This is the first set of this Classic Collection. This is for all SFF2 keyboards: PSR-S710, S910, S750, S950, S670, S770, S970 (for S650 the extensions of each style should be changed to '.sty'), TYROS3, TYROS4, TYROS5, CVP-5xx, 6xx, 7xx and also PSR-A2000 and A3000. (170 styles) |
PSR-8000 Styles | In 740 and 8000 styles, I revoiced GM GrandPiano to Live!GrandPiano(000-113-001). Because in S970, GM Piano sounds like ConcertGrandPiano. Both keyboards have 5 Sweet! Voices (Trumpet, TenorSax, AltoSax, Clarinet and Flute). But in 740 there is ClassicalFlute, given as regular voice. (239 styles) |
PSR-730 Styles | Basically, PSR 730 has only GM voices in all tracks. I revoiced some tracks to panel voices and XG voices. I also revoiced GM Piano to Live!GrandPiano. 730 panel voices have only one extraordinary voice that is Sweet!Trumpet. This keyboard also has lot of unique Styles. (112 styles) |
PSR-620&510 Styles | This includes the very most ancient SFF1 styles of PSR-620 (1995) and PSR-510 (1993). In those periods, the top end (master) keyboards were PSR-7000 and 1700. PSR-620 & 510 have IntroB and EndingB. I copied IntroA and EndingA from the master styles. I also added additional unique styles from the masters and added some custom styles from those times. Styles for Tyros5
Standard Styles Collection
(Aug 2018) I have completed a Standard Styles Collection for Tyros4, Tyros5 and GENOS. For this Standard Collection, I selected all the styles that I did for PSR-S970 Standard Collection. I replaced some PSR voices (voices not in TYROS models). They are some Cool! Guitars and Sweet! Saxophone. All these styles also may be unique. The voices are upgraded up to the standard of Tyros4.

Unique Styles Collection
(Aug 2018) Here is another style collection for the Tyros5 and the GENOS. This collection includes some unique styles and slightly different old styles. For this collection, I selected the models from PSR-3000 to PSR-S975 (all Mega models) and the PSR-OR700. I also included converted Audio styles from the PSR-S970. A description of all the categories is provided in an Excel File.

Special Styles Collection
(Jul 2018) I compiled a special YAMAHA Preset Styles Collection for Tyros5. This collection includes unique styles from top-level Keyboards (TYROS & CVP). These styles may not be in the Tyros5 and are also different from Tyros5 styles. Some styles are unique. For others, I selected the best one. I did not edit any styles, just copied and pasted and renamed some styles. (If I did any changes in my S970, the R3 voice in OTS would be removed.) Just view these styles in your T5. If you want to make any changes, do it or keep the same. A description is available in this Excel file.

Styles for PSR-S970
All of Onacimus' style conversions for the PSR-S970 are available on the PSR-S970 Styles page along with detailed descriptions of each collection. For simplicity, only the conversions themselves are listed here.
Christmas Styles Collection
This Christmas style collection for PSR S970 is drawn from the Standard, Super Mega, Super Mega Plus and Special collections for S970, which are available below. These styles may also be compatible with the T4, T5, C6, & C7 keyboards. There are 95 styles available in this Christmas-S970.zip file. [This Christmas collection is also avaiable below for the PSR-S950 keyboard.] Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

S970 Standard Styles Collection
The Standard Styles collection for the PSR-S970 includes almost 1,300 styles. 'Standard' Collection means styles having many extraordinary voices (Sweet, Cool & Live) except Mega voices in tracks and OTS. The collection includes styles from ten keyboards: PSR-9000 and 9000Pro, PSR-740, PSR-2000, PSR-2100, PSR-1500, PSR-550, and CVP-109, CVP-209 and CVP210. It also includes Oriental Styles from the PSR-A1000. For this Collection, I picked styles from PSR-S910 Standard collection, added some more styles, and did slight voice editing. Descriptions available in this Microsoft XL File.

S970 SuperMega Styles
The nearly 1,300 styles in the 'Super Mega Styles collection' includes all SFF1 Mega styles from Tyros1, Tyros2, CVP-309, CVP-409, PSR-3000, PSR-S900 and PSR-S700. I also included Oriental Styles from PSR-OR700. The term 'Super Mega' means Super Articulation voices in OTS and Mega Voices in tracks. For this collection, I picked all Tyros1 styles as basic and added other styles if they were new and slightly different. I also did some slight revoicing. I put different icons for each style, mostly matching the original. Descriptions available in this Excel File.

S970 Super Mega Plus Style Collection 1
(Apr 2019) 'Super Mega Plus' has Sweet, Live, and Cool voices (like Standard) as well as Super Articulation voices and Mega voices in tracks (like SuperMega) but SFF2 styles. Source keyboards include PSR-S710, PSR-S650, PSR-S910, TYROS3, CVP-509, PSR-950, TYROS4, CVP-609, TYROS5, CVP-709, PSR-S975 and Genos. I have also included Oriental Styles from PSR-A2000 and A3000.
Since the Super Mega Plus Collection has such a huge number of styles in each category, I split this collection into two collections, one based on PSR models and a second based on Tyros models.
The Super Mega Plus Collection-1 (SFF2 PSR Models) for PSR-S970 contains all the PSR styles from 11 keyboards (PSR-S650, S670, S710, S750, S770, A2000, A3000, S910, S950, S970, S975). I also edited some styles and renamed many styles. A separate XL file lists all the styles in this collection.
SMP 2020 Update
(21 March 2020) I have updated 'Super Mega Plus Collection-1 (SFF2 PSR Models) for PSR-S970 by adding the new and different styles of PSR-SX700 and PSR-SX900. I viewed all styles of both PSR-SX700 and SX900. Some styles given only in previous Top models (TYROS, CVP) are given in both PSR Models. Also new GENOS styles are included in both models. I also selected some old top model styles (T4 & T5) that have the risk of SA2!StyleVoices and all the new GENOS styles from both. Preferably, I selected SX700 styles. These have no risk of tweaking except OrganFlute voices in OTS. The voice parameters of OrgFlutes voices are different. The other SX900 styles use all T5 voices and some GENOS voices and drums. So some works are needed. DSP effects of SX700 are same as S970. But the DSP effects of SX900 are different, may be like T4 and T5. So I edited the DSP effects of SX900 styles while converting.
The following categories were updated: Pop&Rock, Ballad, Dance, Swing&Jazz, R&B, Country, Latin, Ballroom, Movie&Show, Entertainer, World.

Super Mega Plus Style Collecition-2 (Top Models)
The second collection, Super Mega Plus Style Collection-2 (Top Models) for PSR-S970, includes styles from 7 top-model styles (Tyros3, Tyros4, Tyros5, GENOS, CVP-509, CVP-609, CVP-709). For this Tyros collection I made a lot of changes. This collection also has its own Excel file.
Update 2020
(9 April 2020) I have updated SMP Style Collection-2 (Top Models) for PSR-S970 by converting and adding the all new and different styles of the new CVP-809. While viewing the Data List of CVP-709, I see that many styles are missing in each category (in the Preset File folders). I assume that those styles may be AudioStyles, which cannot transferred to any external device, eg. '80'sAmericanPop', 'WestCoastBeat', 'VintageR&R', '70'sCountrySwing', 'SlowCountryPop', etc. Many of these styles are now available in CVP-809. CVP-809 has the complete voices of GENOS and many more exclusive Clavinova voices. Converting these styles also takes lot of time. To remap the drums, editing notes of Mega Vocal voices, replacing appropriate voices to the unknown voices in tracks as well as OTS and applying DSP effects to many styles.
- 4/08 - Added 5 new styles (1 in MovieShow1, 3 in MovieShow2, 1 in Entertainer).
- 4/09 - Added 5 new styles (4 in Entertainer, 1 in World).
Updates are now complete and all are in the table below. The 72 CVP809 styles converted for use on the S970 are available in this file.
01-Pop&Rock1 84 styles | 02-Pop&Rock2 87 styles | 03-Ballad1 78 styles | 04-Ballad2 67 styles |

Genos Styles for PSR-S970
(Jun 2018) 220 Genos styles have been converted for use with the S970. While converting GENOS styles, I played and checked all the styles one by one. I found many new styles in old names. For example Bluegrass, Country 8Beat1, ChaChaCha, etc. Many old styles are given in new names 9-8Waltz as FinalWaltz, 70'sChartCountry as TopChartCountry etc. Many new styles are given in new names (MoonWaltz, 80'sChristmas, AmbientChristmas, etc). I picked the new and slightly different styles and converted those styles. All the converted Genos styles arein this file as well as in the table above.

S970 Special Style Collection
This style collection includes various styles from Internet and Expansion Packs. I updated all the styles and added many new styles in 11 categories. I converted many Expansion styles. I remaped the new kits by using the drumkits available in the PSR-S970. These styles also can be used in TYROS3, 4, 5, CVP-509, 609, 709, S950 and S770. Some Entertainer styles need drum remaping in T3, C5 and S950, because they have no 'HouseKit'. The voice selections are up to the standared of S770. Descriptions available in this MS Excel file.

S970 Indian Style Collection
I have assembled a collection of all YAMAHA Indian styles. They are from the Indian2, IndianDevotional, and IndianEntertainer Expansion packs for the PSR-S970. Additional styles are from the S950 Bonus styles of Indian2, S750 Pack and Bonus styles of Indian2, S650 pack and Bonus styles on Indian2 and some preset styles from S710 & S550. I brought together all these styles (95 styles) in one collection by eliminating duplicates. These styles will play well in S970 only if any one of the three Indian packs are installed. A Microsoft XL file is also available.

These styles have a lot of S.Articulation and Mega Voices. So I named this collection as SuperMegaStyle Collections For PSR S900

My friend recently bought the new PSR-S550. This is an upgraded version of the PSR-S500. Copying and pasting styles, like the PSR1000 through Tyros3, is not possible on this keyboard. However, the S550 includes a 'Style Creator'. I made these styles by running each one through the S550 Style Creator. First, I saved the style in the user slot as 'UserStyle001'. I then saved the style to a USB device and renamed it to the exact style name. While saving, I did not make any changes; all styles are in their original tempos.
While the S550 preset styles include OTS, when they are saved to the user area, the OTS is not included. The saved styles are like PSR 740 and 9000 styles, which do not have OTS. The styles do have rhythm sections like the standard keyboard (4 Main & Fill Ins, 3 Intros & Endings and Break [Break function is disabled in S550]). These styles have no Mega Voice but do have the standard Live, Cool & Sweet voices with live performances. Also, some of the styles are new in the Dance, Latin and World categories with additional Ethnic Kits. These styles are SFF1 with extension as .sty. They should be directly playable in 740, 9k, .., 2100 and CVP models. They should sound even better in the Tyros, 3000, and later keyboards because the drum setups are the same.
With Regards and Wishes

For an update to the Music Finder discussion be sure to review the lessons in the Lessons Playing Music Finder section. Many of the MFDs below were created for the PSR-3000 and earlier keyboards.
Yamaha's Music Finder Database
Music Finder Database (MFD) records provide an easy way to quickly select the style and tempo and, perhaps, a beginning, for songs. Unfortunately, the 'songs' provided in the preset music finder database records do not give the actual song name, but a variation of it, perhaps to protect Yamaha from copyright suits.
Corrected Yamaha MFD Files
Although it is sometimes easy to figure out the original song title, it is far easier to have the correct song titles. The MFD files provided below are similar to the original preset files, but with the correct song titles. Since some people have trouble downloading an '.mfd' file, I have also provided a delimited text file for each mfd database. Note that the mfd files work only on the keyboard for which they were created. You can, however, use MusicFinderView to convert an mfd created on any keyboard for use on a different target keyboard. Find your keyboard in the list below and use the link to download a corrected version of the original Yamaha Preset MFD file.

Using MusicFinderView to Convert an MFD
A major reason the mfd records are keyboard specific is that they refer to internal preset styles which are different for each model keyboard. As mentioned above, there are utilities that can convert a Music Finder File for one instrument into one that can be used on a different instrument. An example of how this is done is shown below using Michael Bedesem's MusicFinderView program.
The screen shot here shows a Tyros 2 Music Finder Database (Tyros2MFUK.mfd) being 'Saved' as a PSR-S900 Music Finder Database (selected as the Target Instrument). The 'saving' not only adds the appropriate instrument record, it also identifies records for which the indicated style is not available on the target instrument. You can optionally choose to (a) eliminate all these records, (b) replace the style with a 'default' style you can select, or (c) edit those records and put an alternative style in. I choose to eliminate all non-available styles and that reduced the 2,083 styles in the Tyros2 database to 1,615 in the converted Tyros2 database for the PSRS900.
Since the conversion process is so simple, and since we have so many varieties of keyboards available right now, I'll leave it to you to do any converting for your particular keyboard. The more expensive keyboards do have more records in their mfd databases, but many of the records are the same from keyboard to keyboard. You can also convert some of the mfd collections provided below if you have a newer keyboard.
Note: all of the files above are '.mfd' files. Your PSR will recognize these files only when you are accessing the System Reset for Music Finder (Function Utility System Reset Music Finder ). There is a complete tutorial on loading mfd files on this site. Review it if you need help.
Joe's Master MFD
This is an expanded Music Finder File that I originally developed on the PSR-2000 with over 2,000 records. Some songs have multiple records suggesting alternative styles. The number of unique song titles currently in the database is 1,712. The Keyword field in this database has abbreviations for all the (U.S.) fake books in which the song appears. I combined records from a variety of different MFDs available at the time to create this 'master' mfd file. See the MFD Bonus page for a detailed description of the database and how to use it. You can use the MusicFinderView program to derive individual Fake Book mfds from this master file. I have used that program to convert the original PSR-2000 file into a version for a variety of Yamaha keyboards. You can download a copy of this master mfd file for your keyboard by clicking one of the links provided here:
- Tyros models: Tyros5, Tyros4, Tyros3, Tyros2, Tyros1
- PSR-S models: PSR-S950, PSR-S910, PSR-S900
- PSR models: PSR-3000, PSR-2100, PSR-1100, PSR-2000, PSR
Master MFD Text Files
Master1011.doc -- You do not have to use the Music Finder feature to take advantage of these Music Finder files. This is a Microsoft Word document that includes the basic Music Finder information stored in the Master MFD. It produces a 23-page printout with three colums/page that gives an alphabetical list of songs and the various style/tempo suggestions for that song.
FB_Abb.txt -- This text file provides a listing of all the fake book abbreviations used in the above file and the fake book to which the abbreviation applies.
Gary Diamond's PSR-3000 MFD
If you have a new PSR-3000, you may need to convert the above MFDs to a format compatible with the PSR-3000. Even so, you may find that the 'styles' referred to above are really very different in the PSR-3000 and may have to be adjusted. Gary Diamond worked for many weeks to adjust his song library to his new PSR-3000 and the preset styles included with that instrument. The MFD in the 3000, unlike those in the earlier models, allows the user to also specify and save the particular Intro to start the song with as well as the style variation (A, B, C, or D) to start with. Gary's new MFD has almost 500 records and PSR-3000 owners can load this mfd or append it to what they already have. Many thanks to Gary for sharing it with us.

Bob Durham's PSR Performer Collection
From the PSR Tutorial web site, I extracted all the performers song titles and put them in Excel including style and tempo. After a bit of sorting and extracting, I assembled a text delimited file and imported it into Music Finder. The result is a database of all the recognised styles that performers have submitted to date (Oct 2004). There are many duplicates and also duplicates with your big list but there could be quite a few that have escaped. Thought it might be useful. I extracted all the 2k styles as these are probably the most useful. --Regards Bob Durham

634 records
Note: Bob's original mfd had 634 records for PSR-2000 users and that is included in the zip file above. I used the latest version of Michael Bedesem's MusicFinderView (see illustration above) to make a version for PSR-2100 users, which had the same number of records, and a version for PSR-3000 users, which had fewer records. Both of these are also included in the above zip file. If you have another keyboard, use MusicFinderView to convert the mfd to your keyboard's format. - Joe Waters
Scott Langholff's PSR-2000 MFD
Hi Joe, I actually ran into a guy in Pensacola that plays a PSR-2000 and sings! I was amazed. Anyway, he was pretty happy to get my old files from the PSR-2000. I thought that perhaps as long as I had them out that someone may enjoy my final version of my Music Finder on the 2000. So here it is.
Not Just for PSRs. The song list in my Music Finder database can, in fact, be used by owners of any arranger keyboard. If you download the MusicFinderView by Michael Bedesem and then download my Music Finder database, you will be able to see my song list in Michael Bedesem's Music Finder View program.
Of course, if you happen to have a Yamaha PSR-2000, you can load it into your keyboard as is. For other Yamaha models, you can use MusicFinderView to set your target instrument and save a version of the database for your keyboard.
Music Genres. Some players may find the abreviations for styles of music that I have included in the keyword field useful. In my many years of teaching, I discovered that most people don't know what genre of music a specific tune is and, therefore, what style to play with it. My relatively easy method of labelling the styles may be a lot easier than what I would imagine most people may be used to.
To look at the song list by song category, in MusicFinderView, set the Target Instrument to PSR2000. Next, go to Search, and click on Keywords. Using the codes shown below, enter the code into For This Text. Click on Find And Check All then click on Close and click on Play List. You will see a list of all the songs in that category. When you want to see another category, go to Checkbox Control and click on Uncheck. You are then ready to view another category. You will find a pretty good number of standard type tunes that are frequently performed.
The codes I use are: L=Latin, W=Waltz, F=Foxtrot(Quickstep), O=Old Time(Polka's), D=Dixieland(Foxtrot,Quickstep), S=pre-1960's Standards. Also listed are M=post 1950's 'Modern', P=Pop, R=Rock and some others.
Tempos. Tempos used in Ballroom dancing are probably different than the tempos that most players would have ever imagined. Since the tempos I use vary according to whether I'm playing a concert, sing-a-long, listening music, etc, I would suggest adusting according to your needs by feel or by going to your favoite search engine and type in the words Ballroom Tempo.
I hope some players will find the above information useful.
